These are casual and friendly photo walks, where the aim is to help you take better pictures, using creative views, in a great location.
The workshop starts at 10.30am and lasts 5 hours. This brand new route takes in the historic Deansgate and Castlefield area of Manchester. This workshop focus on two landmarks in this area, the iconic Hilton Hotel and the brand new Deansgate Towers. Learn how to capture creative views, whilst incorporating this fantastic part of the city. The workshop is limited to 3 people to guarantee personal tuition and individual help where needed.
Please note: There needs to be a minimum of two people for each workshop to run. So, if the bookings are low, I will cancel the workshop and you will receive a full refund.
You will need to bring:
A camera...any camera! Digital, SLR or Mirrorless. Fuji, Canon or Sony. The camera doesn’t matter or how many megapixels it has.
A range of lenses from wide angle to telephoto, though a standard kit lens will do too (or primes if you prefer). Think 24-70mm and you’ll be spot-on.
Any filters you have will be useful, but we have a range of Lee Filters for you to try too.
No tripod is required, as we will shoot handheld and tailor our cameras to suit this style of shooting.
Waterproof clothing and sensible footwear. It’s bound to rain, it’s Manchester after all so do come prepared!
