Weekday dates only
Exploring the historic city of York, this city photography workshop is a great way to get to know your camera and cover a variety of views, subjects and techniques.
Some traditional views and some not so traditional views, but all taken with a creative interpretation. Views that will get you thinking about composition and how you use your camera.
I call this route the York 360, as we circumnavigate the main City Centre.
All within the city walls, but away from all the tourists.
LEARN KEY SKILLS
During the workshop we will cover a range of basic techniques and skills including shutter speeds, aperture, depth-of-field and using filters. We’ll look at the use of different lenses and composition skills, as well as controlling exposure and the use of light.
The workshop starts at 9.30am and lasts 6 hours.
We take a coffee break during the day to discuss the images taken so far, to answer any of your questions and review any images you may have brought with you.
